On-line Guide: What's On: New Year's Eve in Nice
Posted Dec 2014 in What's On
In Nice, most of you will know that the action takes place along the Promenade before the annual fireworks display across the bay. We suggest taking a couple of plastic coupes and bottle of bubbly to bring in the New Year with style. Whether you choose to stay at home and relax, or head out to a local bar, there's plenty of action around the Old Town and Pedestrian Zones too.
Monaco
Monaco celebrates the end of 2014 with an exciting fireworks display on Quai Albert 1er. Watch the skies light up with a vin chaud or glass of champagne from the Christmas village. Alternatively, live the high-life at one of the glitzy parties in Monaco's top hotels.
Cannes
Cannes, similarly, celebrates with fireworks at midnight - stand on the famous Croisette and hear the crowds ooh and ahh as the fireworks light up the Baie de Cannes.
