Fabulous Terrace & Views of Nice, Just Outside the Old Town High up on the sixth floor (with a lift), you will find this cute-as-a-button newly renovated treasure. The pièce de résistance is the large terrace at the back of the apartment where there are spectacular views of the hills of Nice looking straight ahead and the tremendous fountains at the entrance to the Acropolis. Alfresco dining here is a must! The apartment itself has been recently renovated to a high standard. The slick white fitted kitchen has all modern appliances including a built-in dishwasher, built-in stainless steel oven, four-ring electric hob, built-in fridge with small freezer compartment, a washing machine, a microwave, a kettle and cafetière, and all necessary utensils to stir up something special. Facing the kitchen is a small dining table where there are also great views of the Château of Nice. So, as eating areas go, you are a little spoilt for choice, but we bet you will opt for the fantastic terrace whenever the weather permits. You might even knock up something special with avocados from the tree in the garden at the front of the apartment block that heaves with fruit during late spring and early summer. The living room, which leads out onto the terrace, is bright and has a parquet floor and high ceilings where a modern chandelier offers that touch of French. The room hosts a brown leather sofa bed (for occasional extra guests), a complementary cream bucket chair, a large rug, a console table with an LCD screen and DVD player. The television is wired to a satellite dish and receives all UK terrestrial and news channels, plus many more besides. It's a handy option if you feel like a night in once in a while. There is also a stereo/radio with the option of plugging in your MP3 player. Cushions, artwork, and a large reading lamp will give you all the comfort you will need during your stay. |

(cont'd) Next door is the bedroom with a large window above the bed, making the room bright in daytime and with black-out shutters at night. At either side of the double bed are bedside lamps for reading. To the left back wall of the bedroom is a double wardrobe with mirrored doors for clothes and storage. The bedroom has carefully chosen artwork, cushions, and throws to complete the look.
The contemporary bathroom also benefits from great natural light and here you will find a stylish glass and chrome sink with mirror over, a large shower with glass screen, as well as a chrome storage unit and a chrome towel radiator. Modern tan coloured gloss tiles throughout set the bathroom off beautifully. Across the small hallway you will find a separate WC. This is a lovely apartment and perfect for a couple, or a party of three, with the third sleeping on the sofa bed. The owners would prefer not to accept parties of more than three. From the apartment, you are just three minutes away from the bus station, so you can very easily access all transport links to the rest of the Riviera. An abundance of good restaurants are in the Old Town, less than five minutes walk away. You can reach the beach and Promenade within 10 minutes by walking to and strolling through the Old Town. Place Massena is less than just a few minutes walk away in the other direction, so you are still near the main shops. It is just over a minute walk to the local supermarket.
