Home Away from Home with Two Bathrooms & Quiet Balcony What we love about this apartment is the grand sense of space with the high ceilings of some 3.5 metres and its actual size of some 120 square meters. It is our biggest two bedroom apartment and whilst huge, it is full of character making it a fantastic home from home. Many of the original features have been kept such as the flooring and several marble fireplaces. A great plus is the quiet balcony at the back of the apartment, and this coupled with the huge space, two bathrooms, a walk in wardrobe, all mod cons, air-conditioning throughout means it ticks all the boxes for a family holiday apartment. It is to be found on the third floor of a grand building on a wide road (but not a main road) lined with quirky book and antique shops. The apartment is very close to the Old Town, the bus station, and Place Massena. On entering the apartment you can see the enormity of the space. The grand open plan living and dining room are straight in front of you off a spacious hallway. The two bedrooms, two bathrooms, separate walk in wardrobe, and large kitchen are all to be found at the end of the hallway which features original flooring and ornate cupboards. The open plan living and dining area is very light and airy with three huge windows and very high ceilings. It consists of a large mahogany dining table with seating for six, a large mahogany display cabinet, two sofas, (one a sofa bed), and two chairs. There is a large round bamboo rug and a typical French cabinet which hosts the TV and DVD player. Satellite TV means there are English-speaking news channels and music channels. The bespoke fitted kitchen is very plush with white and silver thick granite worktops and an abundance of apple wood units, containing all the necessary utensils to cook and entertain. The thick granite worktop and splash-back throughout expands to a breakfast bar with four stools. There is a fitted range gas oven, a five ring gas hob, a dishwasher, and a built in microwave, an extractor fan. There is also a large American fridge freezer. The kitchen units are complimented by the original floor and the large patio windows which lead out onto the balcony where you can sit and eat snacks comfortably. Being at the back of the building, and away from the road, this is a quiet spot. |

(cont'd) The two bathrooms are fully tiled and both have power showers. The main bespoke bathroom is large with a corner shower, plenty of blue and white units, giving ample space, and a granite worktop with a sink and large mirror with spotlights over. To the right of the bathroom is a washing machine. There is also a towel radiator.
Opposite this bathroom there is a room fitted out with floor to ceiling wardrobes that provides all the hanging space you could possible need. Next door is the second bathroom, with wall to wall cream tiles, a large walk in shower, a small sink and a WC. A second WC is to be found next door to the kitchen. The master bedroom hosts a double bed, two bedside tables with elegant table lamps and two small sets of drawers. There is a large window which lets in all necessary light and shutters and curtains to close out the light at night. The second bedroom is huge with two single beds, one on each wall. A large window lets in ample light. There are floor to ceiling cabinets throughout. Again, there are shutters to block out the light. Location is ideal: far enough out of the Old Town to be away from the hustle and bustle, near enough to be in it when you want to be. The bus station (ideal for the airport, the Riviera and trips to the mountains) is just a few minutes minute walk way. Should you wish to travel further a field, the train station is an easy 15 minutes walk away. Should you wish to bring a car, there is a car park next to the bus station. We are flexible on arrival dates, times, and length of your stay. We can usually offer a discount on bookings of less than a week. Prices are in British Pounds Sterling.
