Ideal Family Apartment with Rooftop Pool A quality 2-bedroom apartment situated in central Nice on Boulevard Risso next to the Acropolis exhibition centre. On the seventh floor connected to a hotel, this apartment enjoys fantastic panoramic views from a quiet terrace and a rooftop pool for residents use, a rare find in a central location. The pool is on the seventh floor, the same as the apartment so you can literally stroll to it in your swim wear. If you prefer to change by the pool, there are well-maintained shower cubicles and toilets. The terrace is large with seating for four people. It is in a quiet position and is not particularly overlooked. The apartment is on the seventh floor so the terrace enjoys the views of rooftops and the hills of Nice. The terrace faces east and so enjoys sun until late afternoon. The air-conditioned open plan living area is spacious and has lots of light. There is a table with seating for four and a large sofa. A wall cabinet to the left wall supports a 28-inch LCD screen with European Cable. The kitchen comes equipped with oven, hob, microwave, an American fridge/freezer with an ice maker, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Patio doors lead out onto the terrace and so there is plenty of light. At night, roller shutters can be used. The first bedroom has patio doors to the terrace and shutters for bedtime. The bed consists of two single beds that can be separated or pushed together. Two drawer bedside tables with lamps are on either side of the bed. There is a large wardrobe to the left with plenty of storage space and air conditioning for warm summer nights. |

(cont'd) The second bedroom is almost as big as the first and again has air conditioning and patio doors leading out to the terrace and shutters for bedtime. The bed consists of two single beds that can be separated or pushed together. There is a sliding wardrobe and bedside lamps.
The bathroom consists of a shower cubicle, toilet, and sink with a mirror above. There is also another bathroom with just a toilet and sink next door. This apartment is functional rather than charming, and we would recommend it if you are visiting Nice on a family holiday, where sitting by the pool, eating out on the terrace, and day trips are on your agenda. The apartment is just to the right of the Acropolis in a narrow street. There is traffic passing next to the apartment, but it is not a very busy road. Most vehicles head off down to the Acropolis underground car park before they reach the apartment block. Since the apartment is at the back of the building, it is very quiet in the apartment. From the apartment, it's a five minute walk to the Old Town of Nice and a ten to twelve minute walk to the beach. It is also only a five-minute walk to the bus station if you want to take advantage of Nice's excellent transport service and head out to Antibes, Monaco, or Cannes. This is not as central as some of our other apartments, but is still in easy walking distance of all that Nice has to offer and is most convenient for car parking and if you intend to visit the Acropolis and the MAMAC.
