Perfect Pied-à-Terre in the Old Town
A superior alternative to a hotel room, this very well organised and well thought out studio is situated on one of the best streets of the Old Town. Rue Droite is home to the Palais Lascaris and several interesting art galleries. The apartment itself is above Galerie Art a La Matière, on the fifth floor. Whilst it may be on the fifth floor, there is a lift in the apartment, not easily acquired in this area of town. In fact, we understand there to be only five blocks of apartments with lifts in the Old Town.

The studio benefits from plenty of natural light and noise is kept to a minimum. The apartment shares a central courtyard to the back of the building, so it is relatively private and not overlooked. Tasteful artwork and select decorative effects add personality.

The compact kitchen comes equipped with all that you would feasibly need on holiday, and includes a two-ring electric hob, fridge, microwave oven, table-top oven, kettle, and coffee maker. There are plenty of utensils should you want to cook and dine in the apartment.

(cont'd) The living area is spacious and consists of a large sofa, a glass-topped dining table with four cushioned foldaway chairs, a shelving unit with a TV and hi-fi system, and a coffee table. Tucked away in the corner of the living area is a double bed with a bedside lamp and chest of drawers. Separating the sleeping area from the small hallway to the kitchen is a small desk which is great for reading, writing, or applying make-up and drying hair. This leads onto a large wardrobe and then through to the kitchen.

The well-appointed bathroom is modern and fully tiled. In here as well as the shower, toilet, and sink, with mirror above, you will find a top loading washing machine and a storage cupboard. There is also a heated towel radiator.

Rue Droite is one of the most famous streets in the Old Town and runs from Place St François through Rue Rossetti and down to Rue de la Préfecture. As well as home to most of the local art here, you will also find unique boutiques and small shops with quirky gifts and ornaments. A few good restaurants can also be found here. This really is location, location, location with all that the Old Town has to offer right on your doorstep. It is just 2 minutes to the bus station for trips to Cannes, Monaco, and the rest of the Riviera, and 5 minutes to the beach if you plan to simply soak up the sun.

We are flexible on arrival dates, times, and length of your stay. We can usually offer a discount on bookings of less than a week.
