Uber-cool Luxurious Retreat in the Heart of the Old Town How cool is this? This apartment can truly be called a designer apartment having been gut renovated and tailored by an architect to the owner's spec. The owner's spec? To hell with the cost, create an apartment that keeps an open plan aspect throughout, fill it with all known gadgets and boy's toys, make it luxurious, make it unique, and give it a spectacular finish. And the architect has done just that. The 95 square metre space is bigger than a lot of two-bedroom apartments, all fixtures and fittings are high end, such as Grohe, Duravit, and Flos when not bespoke, the appliances are top of the range Smeg, Krups, Philips and other high-end brands, and there are fantastic design features everywhere. When you throw in the boy's toys, hotel-style Mitsubishi air and heat climate control, Wi-fi, and the central location, just one street away from the Palais de Justice, then this is an apartment worth stretching the budget for. It knocks spots off any of the most prestigious hotel suites. We know where we would rather stay! If you are celebrating an anniversary or honeymoon, or just a romantic weekend away, book now! This is couple's paradise. We can't resist talking about the special Philippe Starke bath for two which stands proud at the foot of the bedroom. But more about that later. As you enter this very bright 4th floor apartment, you first come to the kitchen and dining area, which due to its open plan aspect, leads onto the large living room. The kitchen diner is at least 30 square metres and has everything you need for lavish entertaining. There are no less than 21 gloss white or frosted glass kitchen units, some which hide a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer, the others holding all the utensils, crockery, and glassware you could ever need. For all dining needs, there is a Smeg four-ring gas hob, a microwave, and a Smeg oven. A long wenge worktop with aluminum trim holds a kettle, toaster, and caffetière. Once you have cooked up your feast, there is an impressive dark wood dining table that would comfortably seat six, if required, with six chairs upholstered in deep chocolate velvet. To the far end of the kitchen, there is a very useful built-in desk, ideal for using a laptop. Wi-fi can be accessed throughout the apartment. The living area is again huge, some 30 square meters and here you will find two large white sofas, a huge rug, two stylish reading lamps, and cushions and throws. All the better for watching and listening to the boy's toys on offer. For your enjoyment, there is a 42-inch Philips LCD TV and HD DVD player to provide a visual feast as well as in-wall KEF speakers and Yamaha Dolby 7.1 processor. |

When you have had enough of lounging around, you can take the low-lit designed corridor to the bedroom, bathroom, and utility room. The utility room hosts a large Siemens washing machine and separate Siemens tumble dryer.
The bedroom leads onto a large shower room. The shower room leads to a private WC. Again, this space is huge at 30 square metres. An abundance of first-rate design features include a floor to ceiling headboard with built-in Flos lights, and a huge walk-in wardrobe which is accessed behind the bed. Again, music is provided by KEF built-in wall speakers. In between the shower room and bedroom is the huge luxury Philippe Starke bath, designed for two. The bath comes with cushioned headboards at either side and there are three Grohe taps for hot and cold water and one for the shower attachment should you require it. Most likely you will shower in the 2 square metre custom walk-in shower with inset lights, bespoke teak deck, and pebbled feature wall with the large bespoke marble font. The sink area consists of two individual Duravit sinks, on a thick slab of wenge wood to the left of the bath with a huge mirror and cute Flos pendant lights. Whilst wandering between the bath and shower rooms, keep your feet toasty with the under-floor heating. Like everything else, the bed is hugely luxurious. Brought in from Italy, there has been no expense spared on this or the super high-end mattress. This is our deluxe apartment and whilst you have to walk up four flights of stairs (no lift) to get to it, it is most certainly worth it. Because of its elevation, there is also fantastic light. It is in the central hub of the Old Town, so location could not be better. As our luxury apartment, waffle robes and chilled champagne come standard. Enjoy! We are jealous already. We are flexible on arrival dates, times, and length of your stay. We can usually offer a discount on bookings of less than a week. Prices are in British Pounds Sterling.
