This apartment is very well located that ever place is in walking distance, be it for food and drink or sights. The road noise was actually acceptable for us because it's like the flat we stay in back at home. Highly recommend this apartment to whoever may ask us! Your book provided valuable tips especially the restaurants. Possibly add to it Cote Marais. Monaco, Cannes, St Paul de Vence an Rothschild are must-sees. The boat trip at 3pm from the port is 12 euros each and a good trip out. Local food loverley to cook and the shop opposite is the best value for quality gifts especially bedding. But you do get used to it after a couple of nights. We thoroughly recommend the restaurant Oliviera, just round the corner on Rue du Collet. Great food and the owner explains all the dishes on the menu and is so enthusiastic. The food is original and beautifully cooked and presented. Locals very friendly and laid back atmosphere. Weekends busy and quite noisy at night, but what do you expect, you're right at the heart of the action! Apartment fab and very stylish. Market is a must-do and highly recommend Tire Bouchon for dinner. Lots of street entertainment in Place Rosetti and Cours Saleya. If you have a sense of fun, you will LOVE Nice. Jennifer Mackie The apartment is lovely and spacious. We appreciated the "central" location in the Old Town with easy access to bus and a quick stroll to the seashore. The only real negative is the noise at night. Take the 500 bus to Grasse. Very pretty drive once you get past the city. Grasse is a lovely old town with lots of streets and squares to explore. Get a bus map. It's amazing where you can go for 1 euro 30. On our way home now after 3 weeks. Loved every moment of it. Èze village and Villefranche were our favourite trips, but we were spoilt for choice. Would recommend the boat trip to Monaco, arriving via the harbour was a treat. Organised commentary on the boat also unusually interesting. No complaints at all about the apartment/facilities, but make sure your first purchase is a pair of ear plugs! Many thanks. The only noise that bothered us was the tram works, be prepared for a 7am wake up call! The flat will be fantastic once they are finished. If you are willing to spend the money, treat yourself to the "10 flavours" of Le Petit Maison. It cost 48 euros per person plus wine, it was definitely worth it! Many thanks.
