The decoration and presentation are wonderful and you have thought of everything. This is our first visit to Nice and without doubt we will return. The weather was sunny and we even went skiing at Isola 2000. The apartment is so near the bus station that we made full use of the excellent bus service along the Côte d'Azur. Didn't get to try your recommended restaurants but the bakery downstairs was used frequently. I've gone up a dress size! Thank you Matt and Gayle for starting Nice Pebbles. We'll spread the word! Can definitely recommend Au Vieux Four and the pub Giofreddo. A pub and a bakery, what more could you want! Location and facilities, such as the bakery, make it the perfect place to stay. We will certainly visit Nice again and this apartment would be our first choice. Fab location, within walking distance from all major attractions and restaurants, and we did a lot of walking. Gayle was very helpful. Pubs, restaurants great. With much of Nice being dug up for the tram way we spent a lot of time having day trips along the coast. Would particularly recommend Antibes and Villefranche. So pleased with the mild climate and being able to sit on the beach in March! Emily and Rob, London This was not our first stay in Nice and definitely not our last. Three weeks over Xmas and the New Year with 20 days of sunshine and 1 cloudy day. We do not complain. A perfectly situated flat, though the boulangerie people also had taken the opportunity to be away over the holidays. Caffé Bianco is no doubt the best restaurant in the neighbourhood (if your not looking for Michelin stars), but the brasserie on the opposite side of the same block shall not be forgotten. We did miss a TV set in the flat to start with, though at the end of our stay, we were just as pleased that there was not any. it made us use the old art of reading instead. But a radio should absolutely be offered to the guests. No legs broken, no furnishings or china either. Just a bulb in the bathroom to be changed! Many thanks.
