Sampling the local foods and wines. Chez Palmyre on 5 Rue Droite has been serving traditional cuisine for 80 years. It offers a very unusual dining experience. You should give it a go! Thank you and we will be back. Vince and Henna, London For two and a half weeks we have called Nice our home; sadly we now must leave. Wonderful apartment--perfect little patio for alfresco dining. We loved wandering the streets tasting olives, fruit, and having our fair share of baguettes. A fabulous honeymoon. We hope to be back to celebrate our 25th. Ps. Beware of cats! Jenn and Jonas What a marvellous holiday we have had perched high above the rooftops. Everyday has brought a new experience, a new place to visit, a hidden gem to discover and what about all the sunshine, good food and wine. La Barque Blue on the port is worth a visit for very reasonable and excellent quality plats du jour, and what a landscape of luxury yachts. We went to Eze, a charming village and gardens with splendid views of the coastline and Monaco, height of sophistication. Matt and Gayle were very helpful and friendly, giving us lots of tips about where to eat and visit. A major contribution to the success of the holiday. Nice is a town that imposes the soul, Allowing strangers a glimpse into the French of old, Narrow streets lead you on a merry dance, That allows for fun, food, and local wine perchance.
