This holiday rental apartment is on the 4th floor of a typical old town building. There is no lift. Older guests, or guests with a baby in tow should note that the stairs are quite steep.

The rental apartment is right in the heart of the Vieux Nice (Old Town) on a cobbled street bustling with shops and restaurants, including one of our favourites, Oliviera. It is less than a minute walk to the main bus station or Gare Routière, very handy for the airport express bus and accessing all transport links to the rest of the Riviera.

An abundance of good restaurants are on your doorstep including a few of our favourites on the Cuisine pages. Stroll through the Old Town and you will reach the beach and promenade in 5 minutes. Place Massena is just a few minutes walk away in the other direction, so you are still near the main shops. It is just over a minute walk to the local supermarket.

It is an approximate 10 minute walk to the Shopping District in the modern city centre, 15 minutes to the Port and about 25 minutes on foot to the main Nice Ville train station. The nearest tram stop is about 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

The living and kitchen area are open plan and the living area is decorated in an attractive palette of greys, creams and spalshes of bold purple. There is a good quality chenille corner sofa, a white console unit supporting a 32" LCD screen, DVD player and hi-fi and Wi-Fi internet access and a coffee table. Tall lamps, a large rug and cushions add comfort to the overall chic and simple style. The large double glazed window has both curtains and the traditional shutters. A white rectangular table with four white chairs provides ample dining space.

The kitchen is comprised of units in a gloss maple laminate which complement the marble worktop and real wood floor. The units under the worktop house a small built-in dishwasher, washing machine and fridge with small freezer compartment. The units above hold all necessary glassware, crockery and utensils. There is also a toaster, kettle and a microwave.

The large bedroom has plenty of space for not just the double bed and large fitted wardrobes but a dressing table. The double bed is complemented with a velvet headboard, luxury wallpaper and elegant bedside tables and bedside lamps. The room also benefits from a double glazed window with curtains as well as the traditional shutters.

The bathroom is all clean lines. It is fully tiled in a luxury marble effect with a complementary marble top vanity unit and porcelain wash basin with large mirror over. The shower cubicle is a generous size with a power shower. There is also a WC.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than 7 days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.
