This holiday rental apartment is on the 4th floor of a typical old town building. There is no lift. Older guests, or guests with a baby in tow should note that the stairs are quite steep.

This rental apartment, right in the heart of the Vieux Nice (Old Town), is on a small street which links many main areas of the Old Town. Being less than a minute's walk to the nearest bus and tram stops, it is very handy for the airport express bus and accessing all transport links to the rest of the Riviera.

An abundance of good restaurants are on your doorstep including a few of our favourites on the Cuisine pages. Stroll through the Old Town and you will reach the beach and promenade in five minutes. Place Massena is just a few minutes walk away in the other direction, so you are still near the main shops. It is just over a minute's walk to the local supermarket, 15 minutes to the Port and about 25 minutes on foot to the main Nice Ville train station.

The living and kitchen area are open plan, and the living area is decorated in an attractive palette of greys and creams with splashes of bold purple. There is a good quality chenille corner sofa, a white console unit supporting a 32" LCD screen, DVD player and hi-fi, as well as Wi-Fi internet access and a coffee table. Tall lamps, a large rug and cushions add comfort to the overall chic style. The large double glazed window has both curtains and the traditional shutters.

The kitchen is comprised of units in a gloss maple laminate, which complement the marble worktop and real wood floor. The units under the worktop house a washing machine and fridge with small freezer compartment. The units above hold all necessary glassware, crockery and utensils for any cooking guests choose to do with the region's tasty produce. A white rectangular table with four chairs provides ample dining space.

The large bedroom has plenty of space, not just for the double bed and large fitted wardrobes, but also for a dressing table. The double bed is complemented with a velvet headboard, luxury wallpaper, and elegant bedside tables and lamps. The room also benefits from a double glazed window, which like the window in the living room, has traditional shutters.

The bathroom is all clean lines. It is fully tiled in a luxury marble effect with a complementary marble-top vanity unit, porcelain wash basin with large mirror and toilet. The shower cubicle is a generous size with a power shower.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.
