According to over ten guidebooks and feedback from thousands of customers, our Nice apartments are the best on offer in central Nice. Nice Pebbles apartments are chosen for their location, their furnishings and finish as well as amenities. If a rental apartment does not come up to our high Nice Pebbles standards, we won’t add it to our portfolio. Nice Pebbles apartments are all within 15 minutes walking distance to Nice’s 5km-long pebbley beach on the Promenade des Anglais. This was why we chose our name Nice Pebbles. 3. We're on hand during your stay

We have two offices in Central Nice, one at 23 Rue Gioffredo and one at 20 Rue de L’Hotel des Postes, both within 15 minutes walk of all our Nice Pebbles apartment. We are open between 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday and from 10am – 3pm on Saturdays. We’re on hand in the shop or by telephone (+33 (0)4 97 20 27 30) during your stay to help with any questions or queries.

4. We're committed to find the right holiday apartment for you

All prices are chosen by us, not the owners, and we write the descriptions honestly and fairly without any bias. You will see we highlight both negatives as and positives on each property’s testimonials page. We want all our guests to be happy with the apartment they choose and know it’s important for us to give as much information as possible. We're more than happy to discuss your shortlist with you over the phone or by email, and there are designated staff to help with this in our office. We can tell you how big the lift is if you are coming with children. We can tell you whether there is a shop a few minutes away. And we can even tell you how steep any stairs are.

5. Our service to our guests

We offer flexibility on arrival dates, online booking and a personal service up to and including arrival. On arrival every guest is personally greeted and taken to their apartment in Nice. Our team offers guidance on what to do and where to go during their stay, as well as a full orientation on the apartment and the area. Once we've left you to enjoy your holiday there's always plenty of literature, including our Pebbles Guide to the French Riviera for you to read at leisure. Guests also have numbers to reach us if they need to, and can pop into the shops during office hours.

6. Flexible check in and check out

We offer a check in and check out service – just like a hotel! Around 90% of the time, we'll accommodate our guests checking in early at their Nice rental apartment, or at the very least leaving luggage there until check in is possible. The same goes for check out. Where this isn't possible, guests are welcome to store luggage free of charge during work hours at either of our central Nice Pebbles offices.

  • We want to help those with early arrivals or late flights home, not punish them.

7. All the service of a hotel

All of our rental apartments in Nice offer the standards of a hotel – but at a generally lower cost. Should you want daily or additional cleaning or linen changes, this can be ordered at check out at a small extra fee. Should you want us to book a restaurant for you, just let us know. Want a taxi or airport transfer? Again just let us know when you book your Nice apartment online or over the telephone. Though we can't offer guests a daily mini bar, we can provide you with grocery packages, drinks packages and other more indulgent packages for guests who want to celebrate something special. Just like a hotel, we can take payment by credit card and damage deposits are also taken by credit card.

HOLIDAY APARTMENT LIVING

Our guests tell us that once they’ve stayed in one of our Nice rental apartments, they will never book a hotel in Nice again!

We know we can’t compete with the hotel lobby and the daily cleaning, but there are so many advantages that our holiday apartments have over hotels. We aim to make your overall stay more comfortable than a hotel room can ever be, for a similar or sometimes cheaper price. And we don’t scrimp on the luxuries. All of our apartments are presented in the way you would expect from a boutique styled hotel – freshly laundered and pressed Egyptian cotton linen and towels, toiletries and the option to purchase food, drink and gift packages to enhance your stay with us.

Apartment living has hugely dented the hotel industry in recent years, and it’s easy to see why. Do you tire of having to be ready for breakfast and then paying very high prices for a basic croissant and jam? Do you feel you sometimes spend money on drink stops when you would rather be relaxing in your chic apartment? Want a cup of tea or coffee in bed in the morning without the hassle of ordering room service?

It's a shame to visit Nice and leave without sampling the fresh produce on offer. With one of our Nice apartments, it's easy to enjoy fresh pasta, herbs, olive oil, fresh fruit, vegetables and fish from our local markets and shops. Our final tip? Relax with a bottle of chilled Bandol wine after a hard day's sightseeing or visit to the beach!
