This large, tree lined Boulevard is a great location for a holiday apartment, one block past the hustle and bustle of Boulevard Gambetta, it is more residential and calmer yet lined with amenities. With easy access to a city bike, ‘Velo Bleu’, and electric car 'Auto Bleu' station and plenty of regular buses going to and from the centre and Old Town in a quick 10 minutes, this remains a central and accessible area. Walking down to the beach will take a mere six or seven minutes and once there you have the choice of lying like a local on the pebbles, or treating yourself to extra comfort at one of the private, serviced beaches, Florida Beach or Le Voilier Plage being the two closest. Once on the Promenade it is a nice, easy stroll of about 15 minutes past famous landmarks like the Negresco Hotel, into the Old Town. Or, you could choose to walk down the pedestrianised Rue de France which is lined with restaurants, bars and shops.
Boulevard Francois Grosso itself also has a choice of restaurants frequented mainly by locals and amenities including a bakery, bank, supermarket, pharmacy, pressing, tailor shop, and beauty/hair salon.
