Floor/Building
The apartment on Avenue de la Republique is on the third floor of a charming Nicois building which has very recently undergone a refurbishment of the common areas. The building has a lift which will accommodate a standard size pushchair, alternatively there are three flights (66 steps) of wide stairs of average steepness.
Neighbourhood
The busy neighbourhood can provide for all your needs with local food shops, restaurants and cafes, a larger Carrefour supermarket can be found just five minutes’ walk away.
The tram, which has been a revelation to Nice runs close by. The location is amazingly convenient for access to the whole of the City. Buy a card loaded with ten tickets and any journey will only cost you €1. The mainline train station if you want to travel further afield is only 6 stops. One stop down and you can take the second tramline (fully open at the end of 2019) which connects to the airport and Nice port.

Living Area
The air-conditioned cosy lounge, like the rest of the apartment, is furnished in a contemporary, eclectic style with two sofas and a round dining table. There is a large flat screen TV with French channels and some News channels in English. There is fibre internet connection.
Kitchen
The stylish black fully fitted kitchen has everything for your comfortable stay. Features include a Nespresso machine, electric induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is an attractive balcony area off the kitchen which is large enough to accommodate 4 people for those al fresco breakfasts and aperitifs.
Bedrooms
There are two spacious bedrooms that feature traditional yet modern furniture that contrast beautifully with the parquet flooring. Bedroom 1 has a large double bed (English King Size) with matching bedside tables and wardrobe. There is an easy chair to add further comfort. There is ample room left over for a baby cot.
Bedroom 2 is equally spacious but has twin single beds and a similar array of furniture, this room could also accommodate a baby cot. Both bedrooms are air conditioned to guarantee a pleasant night's sleep or, if you prefer, throw open the French doors to the small balcony adjoining each room to enjoy the Mediterranean climate.

Fresh and bright, like the rest of the apartment, it has been tastefully renovated and has a fabulous walk-in shower with handheld shower and rainfall head. There is a toilet and washbasin with vanity unit and a heated towel rail for comfort.
