When you book your Nice Pebbles apartment, you get a Nice rental apartment that will far surpass your expectations of what a Nice rental could be. Because along with your apartment, you also get the assistance of the Pebbles team. Our greeters and other team members appear to be psychic in the way they will anticipate your questions and have all answers at the ready. They’ve been there, done that and know people who know people, which of course, makes you feel like an immediate local resident with an all-access passeport to what’s hip, haute and fun. In short, our greeters facilitate the Nice holiday of your dreams.

Maggie – Office Manager
. Leaving England before her twenties, Maggie spent close to 40 years in the South of France before returning to the UK where she worked for us as the General Manager of the UK team at Pebbles Rentals. After two years, she was homesick for the French Riviera, so transferred to the French office and is now the General Manager for Pebbles Concierge in Nice. Knowing all the moving parts of Pebbles very well, and with more than twenty years experience in customer service and hospitality (Maggie worked in the yacht and luxury villa industry before joining Pebbles some five years ago), Maggie can multi-task like no other. She also speaks fluent French.
Neil - Reservations
. If you're one of our repeat guests, most likely you've spoken to Neil at some point over the years. When Neil joined us back in 2013, he brought with him almost 30 years of international experience in hospitality management. Originally from the UK, he has also worked in Bermuda, Australia, the Caribbean and the US. His experience includes management of independent hotels and resorts, condominiums, villas and holiday home rentals, including 4-diamond and 5-star properties. When not working, Neil grows vegetables and builds things - like big things - summerhouses to be specific - and spends time with his family and enjoying the outdoors.
Darren - Reservations
. After working in customer service for the past 7 years in the technical support and telecommunications industry, Darren discovered a passion for travel and starting working at Jet2 in the pre travel services department taking care of any customers issues and making sure they had a flawless holiday. After spending so much time in the corporate machine he decided he wanted to remain in travel but work in a smaller team and that’s how we found Darren in 2018. And now he has hit the ground running and with his experience in customer service he has put his skills to good use assisting our guests with any questions they may have. When he's not working, he is learning the piano and taking long walks with his dog, Spyro.
Kirstie - Reservations
. Kirstie joined the reservations team in 2018. She has spent all her working life in the customer service and client care industries working for big companies including SKY. She is enjoying exploring Nice and when not working she enjoys travel, playing video games and relaxing in the evenings with her cat, Malcolm.
Sneji – Maintenance Manager
. Before Pebbles, Sneji was a professional English Bulgarian Translator for 9 years. She has a degree in Bulgarian and English Phonology and a Masters in Economics. On arriving in France back in 2013, Sneji did a 12 month extensive French course in the Faculté des Lettres, Arts et Sciences Humaines. She loves languages and is fluent in English, French and Bulgarian as well as competent in Russian. Needless to say, we think she’s very clever and lots of our owners do too. Sneji heads up the maintenance department and works with our owners to ensure all the properties on our portfolio are in top working order. Sneji’s home life is as busy as at Pebbles and she enjoys spending time with her husband and pre-teen boy. When time allows, she indulges in her hobby of amateur painting. Like famous artists before her, Sneji loves the landscapes and light on offer on the French Riviera.
Sonia – Supplies Assistant / Concierge Desk
. Sonia started with us as a Pebbles Rep, then moved to maintenance, and now heads up our customer service desk and store. With an enviable French/ American parentage, bi-lingualise came easy to Sonia, brought up in the small village of Valbonne, in the south of France. Like many French with itchy feet, she left this beautiful part of the world for the bright lights of London, working in fancy restaurants in London’s West End as a maitre d'hotel. A decade later, she returned to the South of France having missed the good weather and more relaxing life style. During her free time, she fits in as much traveling as she can and spends time with friends and family.
Emily - Client Manager
. After finishing a degree in Journalism in the UK, Emily moved to Nice in 2009 for what was supposed to be a two month holiday. Like many others, she immediately fell in love with the area, and the opportunity of a different lifestyle. As you can see, she’s still here and joined the Pebbles team in 2012 and many of our guests will meet her when they arrive. Our self-confessed adrenaline junkie, she now regular found hanging from rock cliffs and wants to learn Kite-Surfing this year. In our down time, Emily likes to travel the world but feels she will always come home to Nice.
Lenka - IT Manager
. All things IT is Lenka’s domain. She swooshes about in her red cape fixing connections, cables and all things tech for our guests. She replaces, upgrades and sorts out all replacement gadgets for our owners. She listens to our whines and moans when our computers are on the blink, and she’s our very own coder improving our websites and indulging the whims of our improvement requests. If we could bottle her, we would.
When Lenka isn’t knee deep in code, she is nurturing and harvesting olives on her olive farm where she lives with her husband.
Charles - UK Director, Nice Pebbles
. Charlie, a whizz with numbers, helps and advises with our financials: strategic planning, budgeting and UK based marketing. Whilst his role has lessened over the years (he now has a young son and a high flying career with the Bank of New York) he's still involved with Pebbles and enjoys his visits over to Nice. Over the years he has visited all parts of the French Riviera, with a particular fondness for Monaco, and the quieter areas of Cagnes and Menton.
Each year, Pebbles Concierge SASU teams up with UK universities to provide internships for under-graduates studying French as their degree (in whole or in part). Here’s a word from our current interns, who guests may meet when they come to stay, or who help with posts for our on-line Pebbles Guide
. We love our interns who work hard in a high pressure environment, learning tonnes as they go. This isn’t a job of photocopying and filing and only those of stern stuff, who can work hard and play hard, make the cut.
Our Owners. We choose our owners carefully. All of them are pro-active, pleasant to deal with and responsive to any problems which occur in the rental apartments. We all appreciate how they are continually open to suggestions by way of improvements. Without them there would be no Pebbles Rentals Ltd or Riviera Pebbles Ltd and we wouldn't be able to offer you the service we strive to give our Guests.
If apartments that appeal to you are booked, . We are acquiring new apartments all the time. Some that are only available for a couple of months a year, we do not advertise on the site.
