Floor/Building
4th floor in a modern building. There is a small 3-person lift. Although the stairs are not steep, there are 72 steps to reach the apartment. Guests should note that there are a few stairs to climb before the lift can be accessed.
The building benefits from a large communal garden, Les Jardins de Capitole, which is encased by the U shape building, and is accessible to residents with benches, greenery and a little pond. This garden area leads directly onto the Promenade des Anglais.

Neighbourhood
Rue Saint Phillippe is ever so slightly out of the main tourist hub, but still very central, and most importantly, next to the beach and Promenade des Anglais. If you choose to stay at Beach Capitole, you can be laid out on a towel on the beach with a book in hand within a few minutes of leaving the building. It is a five minute walk to the Pedestrian Zone, and a twenty minute walk to the Old Town. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around, but in a more residential area of town with fewer tourists. There is a supermarket on the same street, and all the amenities on Boulevard Gambetta, just a few minutes away on foot.
Living Area
The living area is bright and airy with floor to ceiling patio windows and wooden flooring. As well as a small fold out dining table, there is a grey textile corner sofa to cosy up on, a grey rug, coffee table and console unit with large flat-screen TV and DVD. There are also reading lamps.
Accessed from the living room (as well as the bedroom) is a wonderful sunny terrace from which you can enjoy Mediterranean sea views. There is a large table and chairs on the terrace, sun loungers, and chairs - all ideal for al-fresco dining, and tucking into a Times bestseller whilst basking in the sun. The sun is at its peak on the terrace from sunrise to mid-afternoon, but this being the South of France, will be warm in the early evening too in summer months.
Kitchen
The galley kitchen will be used by guests to ferry food and drinks outside onto the terrace. There is plenty of work-space, with a counter top microwave down one side. The other side holds the built in oven, washing machine and dishwasher, fridge, four ring hob and sink.
Bedrooms
The bedroom has French windows that lead out onto the huge terrace - perfect to enjoy your morning coffee. There is a king size bed nestled in between fitted wardrobes and overhead built in cupboard space. There are bedside tables and reading lamps, along with a tall black set of drawers plus a long wall mirror.
A cot can easily fit on either side of the bed, if needed.

Bathroom
The large bathroom is half tiled, and consists of a bath, with shower over, vanity unit with large mirror with overhead bulbs and double wash basin and toilet. There is also a washing machine in corner.
