Nightly rates based on a 7 night stay (stays of less than 7 nights will have a higher nightly rate and stays of more than 7 nights will have a lower nightly rate). A stay tax will apply, which is 4.02% of the actual stay rate excluding any travel extras, booking fees or other charges which may form part of the rate quoted. 6% Booking Fee will also apply. Both charges will be applied at checkout.

Floor/Building

The holiday apartment is on the third floor (though some would say floor 2.5, such are Old Town buildings which have adapted over centuries), without a lift. There are two steps to reach the building front door and then 52 to reach the apartment, but it is certainly worth the effort and they are not steep.

Like most Old Town apartments in Nice, the common parts to the building are not modern.

The apartment has four balconies, two with table and chairs (off the bedrooms) and two smaller ones off the living room and kitchen area.

Neighbourhood

Here you just dip into the start of the Old Town, and a few steps away from the gorgeous Pallion park. You are right next door to the tramline, and can flit between the Old Town and Massena square very easily. As soon as you step out the door, you'll have this choice: turn right to be immersed in the colourful charm of the Old Town and all it has to offer at any time of year, turn left and enjoy the huge park, which others drive an hour just to spend time in.

There's a decent supermarket less than a minutes walk away, and one of the main ones five minutes walk away. You are also very close to Place Garibaldi square for fabulous pavement cafes and bars, as well as five minutes from the Cours Saleya. Basically, if you stuck a compass point at your apartment, you could stay within a 10 minute radius and be content for a month. The location for a holiday doesn't get much better than this. You also have the MAMAC art museum, a cinema, and countless restaurants, bars and pavement cafes on your doorstep, ranging from the humble socca take-aways to the institutions such as Cafe du Turin.

For travelling further afield, you can take the tram outside up to the train station, or grab a bus. Stops are less than a five minute walk away.

Living Area

Renovated throughout in 2018, the living area has all you need to enjoy relaxing or dining in, sampling the local produce.

Light and airy, the space is comfortably and stylishly equipped with a large corner sofa, easy chair and glass coffee table and TV unit. Perfect for relaxing in after a hard day at the beach! A glass dining table, with ambient pendants above, with grey fabric chairs in the corner of this open plan area complete the upmarket look.

When you’ve had enough of people watching from the square below, place a Niçois snack on the coffee table and stream Netflix from the smart TV or watch a DVD, or the TV cable channels on the 55 inch UHD Smart TV. There is also Wi-Fi internet access.

Kitchen

The stylish white and wood kitchen and breakfast area have the advantage of being separate from the living area. Appliances include an integrated dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, four-ring electric hob with pull out extractor, and built-in fridge and freezer.

A small table and two chairs have been designed into the space, or guests have the option of the dining table for four in the living area. The owners have equipped the kitchen with all the utensils and tools for rustling up a culinary triumph with the delicious ingredients freshly purchased from the Cours Saleya that very morning.

Bedrooms

The first and largest bedroom comes with the added bonus of a balcony with a beautiful view of the Coulee Vert park, as well as a Super King Size bed. As well as stylish bedside tables, lamps, drawers and an easy chair, there is also a 40 inch UDH Smart TV(connected to air digital TV), including some English channels. This master bedroom also benefits from the en-suite bathroom with a bath.

The second bedroom also leads out onto a balcony above the Place St Francois square. The bed is also a Super King Size. There are bedside tables, with drawers, and reading lamps, a large set of drawers, reading lamps and easy chairs and ottomans in both bedrooms, and there’s still enough room in either bedroom for a baby cot if needed.

Both bedrooms have a large four door wardrobe, two mirrored, bedside tables with lamps. Like the rest of the apartment, both have integrated air-conditioning, and USB chargers, just one example of how this apartment has been carefully renovated to install many guest conveniences.

Bathroom

The shower room and bathroom follow the same design features of white and wood found in the kitchen, and both are stylish yet convenient. Both have a large drawered vanity unit, with mirror and light over and a heated towel radiator and grey wood floors, tiled in white with spotlights for lighting .

The shower room holds a large walk in shower and toilet. The bathroom (en-suite to the master bedroom) offers a bath with shower attachment.

Flexible changeover dates. All prices for this holiday rental apartment in Nice are inclusive of High Quality cotton linen and towels and utilities for four guests. The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

How To Get There

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 25 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at Garibaldi / Le Chateau, from where it's a five minute walk to the apartment.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If taking a taxi or a transfer, we recommend that you ask to be dropped off at Place St Francois because the Old Town area is pedestrianised and the apartment building is just off this square. This apartment is located in the smallest street of the Old Town, which can make it a little difficult to find.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville .

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram to Vieille Ville - Cathedrale, from where it's a two minute walk to the apartment.

The nearest car park to our Nice apartment Quebec is Parking Promenade des Arts at 18 Avenue Saint-Jean-Baptiste and is about two minutes walk from the apartment. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
