Étage/Immeuble

Situated on the fourth floor of this typical old town apartment building. There is no lift in the building so expect a climb. The staircase is wide and of gentle steepness though so manageable.

Quartier

The apartment is located just off the landmark Place Rossetti. This beautiful square is lined with cafés, restaurants, and the infamous ice-cream parlour, Fennochio's.

With this central location, you could not be more in the heart of the Old Town. The apartment is just a few minutes’ walk away from Cours Saleya, the Promenade des Anglais and the beach, and the bus and tram stops are a mere five minute walk away. There is also a public car park nearby, under Cours Saleya.

A fifteen minute stroll will get you to the Port in one direction and, in the other, to the Shopping District in the modern city centre. The main Nice Ville train station is about 25 minutes away by foot or an easy four-stop tram ride.

Séjour

The living room and open plan kitchen, like the rest of the apartment are full of charm and warmth, with exposed beams and carefully sourced vintage pieces of furniture. A great space for entertaining and cooking up a feast, if you want to! With a large table for entertaining and comfy armchair to enjoy the views out over the church. The balcony is roomy enough for a table and chairs for two.

Cuisine

The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to enjoy experimenting with fresh seasonal produce that can be found in the local markets. There is an oven, three ring hob and dishwasher.

Chambres

The main bedroom has been decorated to enhance the original character of the apartment with the traditional tiled floor conserved. Elegant wallpaper, local artwork and a statement light finish this room.

The bed is a European king size. There is sufficient space in the wardrobe for a short stay. This room is air conditioned.

There is also a second bedroom which has been setup as a TV room and holds a sofa bed. This can be used for an extra guest or two but the cost of linen and towels for this sofa bed needs to added as an extra to the booking.

The sofa bed is a double, best suited for 1 adult or two children. This room is air conditioned. There is also a second balcony overlooking the old town which is accessed through this room.

Salle De Bains

The bathroom is small but has everything you need, a walk in shower, toilet, wash basin, mirror and some storage space. It is also where the washing machine is kept.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

Visit our guide du transport for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. It takes approximately 25 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Garibaldi / Le Chateau tram stop, from where it's a seven minute walk to the apartment.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

Most guests who take taxis or an airport transfer choose to be dropped off at Rue Central because the Old Town area is pedestrianised and the driver will not be able to drive to the entrance of the apartment building. This is about a two minute walk to the apartment building.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville .

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes. Take the tram to the Vieille Ville - Cathedrale tram stop, which is approximately 150 metres from the apartment.

If you prefer to take a taxi, this will take about 10-15 minutes from Gare Nice Ville.

Most guests who take a taxi or an airport transfer choose to be dropped off at Place St Francois because the Old Town area is pedestrianised and the driver will not be able to drive to the entrance of the apartment building. This is about a two minute walk to the apartment building.

We can meet you outside the apartment, or at the Vieille Ville - Cathedrale tram stop, or at Place St Francois, as you prefer.

The nearest car park to our Nice apartment Dante is Corvesy car park at 3 Rue Alexandre Mari, which is a six minute walk from the apartment. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
